This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for engagements with Dfly Inc. Specific terms for a given project always take precedence over this general policy where they differ, as agreed in your project contract.
Project-Based Engagements
Project-based work is typically billed in milestones. Work already completed and delivered up to the point of cancellation is non-refundable. Any portion of a milestone payment covering work not yet started is refundable, minus any costs already committed on your behalf.
Retainer & Ongoing Engagements
Monthly retainers can be cancelled with the notice period specified in your service agreement (typically 30 days). Fees already paid for the current billing period are not refunded, but no further billing occurs after the engagement ends.
Cancellation Process
To cancel an active engagement, contact your project lead or email us directly. We'll confirm the effective cancellation date and provide a summary of any final invoicing or refund due.
Non-Refundable Items
Third-party costs incurred on your behalf — such as domain registrations, software licenses or paid ad spend — are non-refundable once purchased.
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with your project or invoice reference. We aim to resolve refund requests within 10 business days.
Disputed Charges
If you believe an invoice was issued in error, contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider — most billing questions can be resolved directly and faster that way.
Changes to This Policy
