How the calculator counts

For a slab or footing, we place blocks in rows and columns. A slab of 30 ft by 20 ft with a 2.5 ft gap has 13 rows and 9 blocks in each row. That is 117 points.

For a beam or column, we count points along the length, then multiply by the blocks at each point.

Last, we add a little extra (5%) for broken pieces.
