Calculator

How many blocks will you need?

Pick slab, beam, column or footing, put in the size, and you’ll get a rough count you can send us for a rate.

  1. Pick slab, beam, column or footing.
  2. Enter the size.
  3. See the count and send it on WhatsApp.

A quick estimate. Your site engineer has the final word.

1. Where will you use the blocks?
2. Enter the size
3. Change gap, block size and extra (optional)

Gap: the distance between two blocks. A smaller gap means more blocks. Blocks at each point: for example, a column often needs one block on each side.

Why concrete

Why not just use a piece of brick?

Brick pieces and plastic chairs leave weak spots in the cover. A concrete block cures with the slab and ends up part of it.

It keeps rust out

Good cover keeps water and air off the steel. That’s what stops it rusting.

Same gap, bay after bay

Every block is one fixed size, so the cover doesn’t drift from one end of the slab to the other.

It becomes part of the slab

It’s concrete too, so it bonds with the pour instead of leaving a soft spot.

Easy to check

The size is marked on the block, so the engineer can check the cover before concreting.

Cover block range

Each block is cast to one fixed size, so the gap between the steel and the face of the concrete doesn’t change. The 4-way block has a different size on each side; turn it to the one you need.
