What are construction chemicals?
These are products you mix into concrete or mortar, or put on top of it. They help stop water leaks, make new work stick to old work, and repair damage.
Common types
- Waterproofing: for roofs, bathrooms, water tanks and basements.
- Concrete admixtures: mixed into concrete to make it easier to work with or better against water.
- Bonding agents: help new plaster or concrete stick to an old surface.
- Repair products: for cracks and broken concrete.
- Tile adhesive: to fix tiles on floors and walls.
